Calling all coaches!
Victoria, BC, March 4, 2004 - International Cycling Coaches (ICC) is seeking
enthusiastic and qualified people to help coach cycling programs in Victoria, BC.
ICC and City of Victoria Parks and Recreation need female coaches with National
Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Level 1 (or higher) to assist with an eight-week
Women's Learn to Race program that runs April through May. Coaches will receive full
training. An NCCP Level 1 Road Cycling course is scheduled for Victoria, March 13-14
(thanks to Cycling BC), for experienced women cyclists who do not have their
certification.
The ICC also needs apprentice coaches to work with the TeenSpeed Cycling Team.
TeenSpeed is a youth cycling club that encourages all levels of riders to participate,
and offers world-class coaching to aspiring young racers. TeenSpeed wants coaches to
help lead rides and develop programs for this diverse group of eager road and MTB
riders.
