When is trail maintenance?

Trail maintenance is held on the third Sunday of each month from 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where do we meet?

Meet at the Hartland parking lot at the end of Hartland Road. Click here for the Map . Click on the blue marker and you can get customized directions from your place.

Can I get there by public transit?

The closest you can get is the Royal Oak transit exchange. From there you will have to walk or ride 6.7 km.

What should I bring?

Dress appropriately for work outdoors. Bring water and a snack. SIMBS provides gloves and tools. You can bring your own tools if you like.

Does SIMBS provide lunch?

Yes. If you reply to the trail maintenance email by 9:00 a.m. the Friday before the trail day, SIMBS will provide lunch. If you can't reply in time, you are welcome to come out - just bring your own lunch.

Do I have to be a SIMBS member?

No. But I bet you will want to join.

Can I bring my kids?

Sure if they are old enough to help and you can take care of them.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes. We have a secure place to lock up bikes. Many volunteers go for a ride after lunch.
